No, not the basketball kind! It has been quite a while since I’ve updated about our classroom activities. This post will include several activities/projects that we’ve been up to lately.
First off, Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Green is my favorite color, and one of our school colors, so it’s only natural that we celebrate! 🙂 We had a St. Patrick’s Day devotion and discussed 4-leaf clovers. Then, we came up with these:
Then we learned about food chains in Science. The sun makes the grass grow, deer eat the grass, wolves eat the deer…it’s the circle of life, friends! Check out these cool food chain projects:
We also started out the month with Alaska-themed projects in honor of the Iditarod. The class competed in a reading Iditarod, and tied our record for finishing in just 4 days! That’s over 1,000 combined pages in just 4 days! Here are our Iditarod projects:
Finally, last weekend was the last skating party of the year. There were quite a few 4th graders there, and one teacher who forgot how much it hurts the next day when you haven’t skated in years.
It has truly been a wild, crazy, mad month of March! 🙂
